YouTube is an incredible resource for pretty much anything you’re trying to learn on your own...
And preparing for the GMAT is no exception. YouTube can be an excellent resource for test takers, especially when you consider the cost of GMAT prep courses and study materials.
Whether you’re looking to improve your test-taking strategies, hone in specific skills, or refresh on material you haven’t thought about since high school, there are countless videos and channels to help you get ready for test day.
Still, knowing which channels are the best and how to invest your most valuable resource - time - can be difficult.
To help make sure you focus your attention in the right places, we’ve scoured the web for the most helpful GMAT YouTube channels, and put together a list of what we believe are the best ones out there.
With this information, you can find the most useful resources and maximize your studying efficiency.
Magoosh GMAT
The Magoosh GMAT channel is one of the most comprehensive GMAT YouTube channels we found. The channel has close to 44k subscribers and a whopping 1,500 videos (as of April 2024).
Magoosh GMAT joined YouTube in 2009, and they’ve been going strong ever since. They provide online GMAT preparation to help students get the scores they need to gain admission to their dream business schools.
Not only does Magoosh provide hundreds of online lesson videos, but they also give users plenty of tips, tricks, and general explanations and strategies to use during the GMAT.
They even cover news about what’s going on with the GMAT, and they upload a new video every Wednesday!

We really like the Magoosh channel because it’s extremely user-friendly and easy to navigate. The videos are organized by topic, so you don’t have to waste a lot of time wading through videos that you don’t need to view.
For example, there is a section of GMAT reading comprehension videos, a section devoted to taking the GMAT at home, a section titled “Deep Dive GMAT Math Tips & Tricks,” videos dedicated to sentence correction.
Plus, the videos themselves are done very well with good production quality and engaging personalities and tons of math explanation videos from the GMAT Official Guide.
Magoosh has proven to be our top choice among other GMAT prep courses, and they hold the same position as our top choice for GMAT YouTube channels.
Manhattan Prep GMAT
Manhattan Prep GMAT offers one of the best prep courses out there, so it should come as no surprise that their YouTube channel is top notch.
They have about 195 GMAT videos ranging from quick, 5-minute “math spotlight” videos to full, hour-long prep courses that go in depth on a particular skill or topic.
They even provide easily digestible videos that make the topic a little more fun, like the “Math in the Kitchen” videos that deal with topics like fractions and ratios.
Twice each month, Manhattan Prep hosts a free, one-hour GMAT prep session. These valuable courses are led by their 99th percentile instructors and they’re available for viewing anytime.
For live learning, Manhattan Prep even allows users to register for future sessions of their GMAT prep lessons, an incredible learning value at no cost to you!

Wizako GMAT Prep
With nearly 47.1K subscribers and 454 videos (as of April 2024), Wizako GMAT Prep is a treasure trove of content for anyone preparing to take the GMAT exam.
The channel makes it really easy to organize your studying with clearly designed video lesson sequences.
For example, the GMAT online course labeled “start here,” is clearly featured on the channel’s landing page to help you master the basics of the quantitative section in two hours worth of videos.

From there, the videos are broken down into tips & strategy, verbal practice, 700-level problem solving, prep strategies, and so on.
If you’re struggling with a specific topic or skill, you’ll probably be able to find a Wizako video dedicated to it. If you want in-depth video lessons, Wizako delivers.
For more bite-sized content, they have a whole section of 1-3 minute short videos, too. Whatever your needs are, Wizako makes it simple to maximize your test prep efficiency with their videos.
GMATPrepNow
This channel has 178 videos (as of April 2024) and just over 33k subscribers. The GMATPrepNow philosophy is that “a high-quality GMAT course shouldn’t have to be expensive,” and they deliver on that philosophy and then some.
Once you get past the video reviews of their GMAT prep course, you’ll find plenty of free videos that cover a variety of GMAT topics. They’re short, mostly under 10 minutes, and they’re great for getting a little extra studying in while you’re on the go.
GMATPrepNow videos are heavy on quantitative topics, but that’s what a lot of people are looking for when preparing for the GMAT. Still, there are critical reasoning practice videos, and some basic strategies and tips available, too.
We like that they even feature several videos dedicated to the writing portion. The essay isn’t covered that frequently in GMAT prep videos, so it was nice to see several that covered strategies for succeeding on the writing portion.
GMAT Club
GMAT Club is a really popular YouTube channel with 109K subscribers and over 1,800 videos (as of April 2024). GMAT Club calls itself your “one-stop shop for all things GMAT and MBA!”
They offer live videos on GMAT prep, but they don’t stop there. You can also watch videos with valuable information about MBA admissions, the application process, interview tips and strategies, and free advice from experts and consultants.
We like GMAT Club videos because they cover such a broad variety of topics. Despite how you may feel now, there is more to getting into business school than just your GMAT score.
GMAT Club gets that, which is why they include content about strengthening your B-school application and other non-GMAT topics.
Still, the GMAT prep content is extensive and comprehensive. There’s a video for virtually every topic and skill you can think of, and the videos themselves are well-made and are of good quality.
There’s even a GMAT Live Series which features videos that are 1-2 hours long and take deep dives into important GMAT topics.
The thing that makes GMAT club so special, though, is the variety and engagement of their videos. They’re fun to watch and valuable for anyone getting ready to take the GMAT and apply to business school.

Final Thoughts
These are just a few examples of the great YouTube channels you can find to help you get ready to take the GMAT.
Combining free resources like these with your specific GMAT study plan will help ensure the best result for you and help you to get the best score you can.
Of course, YouTube videos are no substitute for a comprehensive GMAT prep course, but they’re great supplemental materials and an easy way to revisit topics that you need more clarification and practice on.
